What is 3D printing anyway?

3D printing is a production method that allows the creation of 3D objects in the physical world, straight from a computerised model.

The 3D printer uses a polymer material chosen by the operator and builds the model layer by layer until a complete three-dimensional object is created.

There are many types of 3D printers that are able to work with a wide variety of materials.

3D printing technology is used in many industrial fields such as toys, fashion, education, transportation, military industry, construction, and even printing from biological materials in the fields of medicine and food production.

Where do you ship to?

All orders are shipped from the UK via Royal Mail 1st Class.

We offer Standard and Tracked UK, Europe and International shipping (Check if your country appears in the list of shipping destinations during checkout).

For full information regarding our Shipping and Delivery terms please visit our page.

How long does it take for my order to arrive?

As our products are custom made and made to order please allow 2-3 working days for these to be made and then despatched. Where possible, and when items are readily available, your order may be fulfilled sooner than advised.

Delivery time for UK and EU orders usually takes around 3-5 working days.

Delivery time for international orders usually takes around 6-8 working days.

What is the difference between Shipping time and Delivery time?

While most people may use them interchangeably, the terms Shipping and Delivery don't actually mean the same thing.

Shipping describes the date a product will leave the supplier's store/warehouse while Delivery describes the date the product is dropped off at the customer's address.

Where are your products manufactured?

3DF is a small one-man's business, located in Glasgow, Scotland, UK.

I (Doron Finkelstein) do everything myself from the planning and design stage, through producing to handling orders, packaging and shipping.

As a small business I really appreciate your support and hope that you will be happy with your future purchase.

What material are your products made of?

All our products are made of corn-starch-based PLA plastic - a durable, safe, non-toxic material.

What if I want to order one of your products but in a design that doesn't exist, can you make one especially for me?

Yes, absolutely!

Our products are highly customisable to suit each potential customer and his personal needs. The personal taste, creativity and desires of our customers are at the heart of 3DF.

If you have an idea for a new design, for example a Keychain, a Room sign, an Articulated Animal, or any of our other products, or want to make changes in the design or colours of an existing product - do not hesitate to contact us! We would love to chat with you and hear your thoughts, and chances are we can do it for you!
